I've been adding my own touch the blog layout today and have been editing it for the past 2 hours. I haven't made much of a difference to how it was before but I'll give you my changes in a nice bullet point format!
- Added Top bar streched across the page
- Added a cool blue swirl background (Background is from the theme Social Media By Chris Pirillo)
- Removed search bar from sidebar
- Added search bar on new top-bar
- Fixed position of Top Bar so it moves to your screen position as you scroll (Mainly done so you can use the search bar without scrolling all the way back up the page)
- Added think black border around content
- Implemented the Continue Reading links onto each blog post, so you don't see the whole post (This has shortened the whole page length dramatically)
- Edited the Footer (Fixed overlapping text issue)
- Added RSS Feed Logo onto the sidebar

(I've tested these Layout Modifications in many screen resolutions and browsers and found no errors, however if you do spot a error, email me at admin@james-blogs.com and tell me about the error you are seeing.)
