My first day of Sixth form

Well today was my first day of Sixth Form (Further education) and because it's simular to going back into a new term or even a new year of school, I really didn't know what to expect, and was nervous. I hate it when you brain automatically gives you a image of what it's going to be like. CURSE YOU IMAGINATION! See I was worried mainly about If I was going to be in a tutor group the same as my mates or end up on my own with no one I knew. I don't think im the only one that was worried about the tutor groups either but to fair I think it natural that one worries about these things.

I was also worried about the subjects that I chose, not in terms of I didn't want to do them but if I'd actually be able to do a certain subject which was Business due to the fact I got a D on it in GCSE, but looks like I can seems it was on my timetable that I had to pick up this morning. So it looks like I can do Business, which is good as I enjoy it!

One bad thing though is that I have to re-take maths :( and for anyone that knows me you'll know that I hate Maths, which frustrates my dad as he's a qualified account and can write pages of figures while watching sport on the TV, which I would of love to inherit in the genes but apparently I got my mums maths gene! (She never reads my blog so im safe on making that comment!) but yeah I have to re-take GCSE Maths during Sixth form and have to get a maths tutor to make sure I pass it this time :(

So basically my first day has been settling back into further education, but what really got me is the fact I don't wear a school uniform anymore and it feels so weird to wear your usual casual clothes that you would on a weekend or after school. Thats defiantly going to take some getting used to.

What was also quite funny on my first day today is that I had two free periods (no lessons) on my first day! Hey im not complaining, but didn't exactly expect that on the first day! And looking at my timetable I always will have Tuesday and wednesday afternoons off as free periods. Suits me!

So first day of Sixth form, was good, but it's going to take some getting used to!

    Know what? I had a really nice long comment for this, but the backspace went and did the "browser history back.(1)" function so now this is all you gets. :P

    But it went sorta like:

    "It's cool to worry about not being in the same classes as your mates."
    "LMAO @ failing math (I'm a wiz. at it)"
    "LOL @ uniforms, but slightly wish we had 'em, but our constitution gives us 'Freedom of Expression' w00t!"
    "What grade is 6th form?"

    @Fire G:

    Lol I've done that backspace thing several times when writing on the blog, so annoying.

    I think Sixth form would be classed as 12th Grade in American terms.

    @James:

    Wow, didn't know you were a senior (12th grader).

    I'm a Junior myself (11th grade).

    I have encountered students who do not like maths or at least thinks it is a difficult subject. Check this site out, it has some pretty good tutorials
