About me

Well as you know my name is James, and im generally interested in Website Development. Back in my early secondary school years and for a random task we had to create a website, this was where it all started. I first came into contact with HTML and from that point and from that day have always been interested in website development, coding the whole package really. Since then I decided to actually learn HTML properly and then from there learnt other coding languages such as CSS and am currently learning more advanced coding languages like PHP.

Moving away from Website Development, other activites I enjoy include blogging, playing my guitar and gaming. I've been learning how to play the guitar for over a year now and probably a guitar for my 16th birthday was probably the best present ever (Thanks Dad!) and obviously I would be a gamer because im on my PC well to much and in the end I spent my own money on a nicely built custom made PC, so what else am I going to use it for, Work? Ha yeah alright then, lets keep the whole world thinking that!

Website History

I have also had a few websites to my name, granted not a 100,000 views a day website but a few which have been fairly successful. One website was Pulse GFX, which was a Photoshop/Web-Design tutorial and resource website. It was started around 2006 and ended mid 2008, the domain pulsegfx.net was mine till I let it drop on it's expiry date. For when Pulse GFX was online it was my website where I posted tutorials on various things in Photoshop and Website Development. The site was closed after I didn't really take up Photoshop but was always passionate about Website Development. This led onto James' Blog being created which essentially replaced Pulse GFX but the foundation of James' Blog was built upon Pulse GFX, so really while James' Blog is more sucessful than Pulse GFX ever was, without me creating Pulse GFX in the first place I don't think James' Blog would be how it is today or even exist. Though it was a shame when I closed Pulse GFX, alot of old school stuff died with it, but James' Blog took over in 2008 to replace and be 10 times better.

I'd never really thought about blogging before but since 22nd August 2008 I've never looked back or thought, damn I shouldn't of closed Pulse GFX. In the beginning James' Blog did start off as just some random blog with general posts about various things, but I quickly changed that by deciding not to let the Pulse GFX era die completly and continued writing tutorials and providing resources for website development. I did not continue writing Photoshop tutorials because I didn't really ever get into it that much but still was very much interested and passionate about Website Development, and since then both tutorials and random blog posts have been on the frontpage, my tutorials have been featured on various tutorials sites such as Good-Tutorials and Pixel 2 Life I am proud to be the person behind James' Blog and hope to help many people with Website Development, through my tutorials and personal email.
