How the new Formula 1 season isn’t “doomed” already

post-thumb

I've never really talked about Formula 1 much here, but I've been a F1 lover since I was like five. To me F1 is one of those areas which I can talk about for hours and can rattle off loads of information about anything to do with the sport, but recently the media seemed to have grasped onto the fact that the new F1 seasons is doomed already and how the first race was boring. Sometimes I really think the media put F1 in a bad light, but thats just me. Anyway I decided to post my thoughts on why the F1 season isn't "doomed"

Big Brother, it’s that time of year again

post-thumb

Every year in the UK were 'blessed' with channel 4 bringing us a reality show known as Big Brother, im sure even if your not in the UK you would of heard about it or god forbid have your own cheap and shitty rip off of it. But anyway it's that time of year again, Big Brother will be starting very soon, I just know it, im really guessing, but it usually starts just after I come back from Scotland (I go every year) and thats end of May early June plus there are those 7 DAYS screen randomly flash on Channel 4, and thats my queue to go "Fuck you" because if you hadn't guess from the sarcasm (Which I guess is hard in text) but I absolutely despise the reality show, and would you believe it's been running for 10 years? Which I guess is quite a achievement.

Why does the UK still take part in Eurovision?

post-thumb

It's a question which I ask myself every year that the Eurovision song contest graces our screens, courtesy of the BBC. Every year it was on since I was about 8 or 9 my dad and I always watched it (Because the actual contest always falls on Saturday) and we will probably both end up watching it this year to. But we'd both admit that we watch it for a laugh, because I don't think anyone in UK takes it seriously anymore, and with good reason. Eurovision is no longer about talent, it's simply political and cheesy. Which is a shame because this year Jade Ewen is representing the United Kingdom in Eurovision and I have heard her sing, and while im not Simon Cowell or Andrew Lloyd Webber she has a very nice voice and I think she has real talent, but because Eurovision is so pathetic and the fact that every country thats in it will vote politically, we don't have a chance in hell.

Swine Flu, why we shouldn’t be getting worried

post-thumb

Okay im not really the guy to post about news related stuff as James' Blog is not a news blog, (thats what BBC news is for!) but I have been partial to post about events such as when everyone thought the world was going to end, you know that big Hadron Collider (Which somehow my post got onto Indian Television!) But anyway the latest news recently thats breaking headlines and always on the frontpage is the Swine Flu pandemic. Yes it's now a pandemic (Im not too sure it should of been raised to one) but thats just me. The flu mainly harvested by pigs and orginating from mexico, anyone unlucky to be a tourist there at this time has a chance of contracting the flu, but I really think the media should tone down on how there going about reporting on Swine Flu.
