On this wonderful snowy day Mr an Mrs Snowman say hello to all the James' Blog readers! The snow has stopped now but apparently more is on the way! Yeah I got bored and decided to relive the childhood I once had. Hey in the UK snow like this doesn't appear much so why the hell not. I did get some random passers by looking at me with funny looks and even got some chavs walking past throwing snowballs at me. But hey it was fun.
England this week has been subjected to the most snow we've ever had in years! Every resident in the UK woke up monday morning with a blanket of snow covering everything. On Tuesday the snow combined with ice closed over 100 schools in Nottingham and caused major roads to be closed due to them being too dangerous (Some 13% gradient sloped roads) and now thinking that the snow has melted away, but it has returned today! There is 2cm - 5cm snow on the ground across parts of the UK. In Nottingham alone over 250 schools are closed, the roads are really bad and traffic is heavy.
I've woke up this morning in my christmas decorated room to find it snowing! Finally the UK gets that rare weather occurance called snow! It's much like a non-existant term in England as we never get it, but my mum literally just shouted up to me "look out the window, we've got proper snow!" God I get so excited about christmas, snow and all of it. Im glad I decorated my room christmas style last night, it now looks so awesome with real snow as the scenery in the window
Yes it's October 31st, and it's surprisingly bright and sunny in England, but of course cold! As you can see James' Blog has got into the Halloween scene with a special Halloween theme for the blog. I always like to do things like this, although I'm far too old to go trick or treating I can still do something right?! We've got for a bit of ghost and ghouls image going on the blog and I hope your not scared to much! This is probably the shortest article ever but then again whats a Halloween theme without a Halloween post on the 31st! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Myself I've always liked the idea of Halloween, one special day where you can knock on any door and ask them for sweets! Genius! Now thats im 16 I am sensible and man enough to let the 10 years olds do this now and I become that random guy. Halloween tends to be one of those mixed views topic, and sadly the older generation seem to be quite against it, now the fact of getting your house egg/flour bombed by "Bad-Ass" teenagers is probably the main contributing point of why many people dislike Halloween (I have a BB Gun incase any one tries it), but then you see small children with there parents dressed up walking in groups going from house to house you have to step and thinking "bless" I mean it's all for the youngers really, there going to have fun, and opening the door and giving them sweets will make them happy because im sure all there brain activity on Halloween will be "SWEEEEEEEEETSSSSSS!"
