Well I haven't blogged in a while and thats because I've been busy with personal things, but because this blogs about everything but myself here's my latest happening in a blog post. Im sure you've all heard about Windows 7, Microsoft's brand new operating system which has been through it's BETA and Release Candidate stages and is due to be released to the public on 22nd October, but because of my college and it's partnership with Microsoft Software Development Network and the MSDN Academic Alliance. I was able to get my hands on a genuine copy of Windows 7 Professional and had some time to install it onto my Compaq Presario Laptop. So after slightly annoying people with "OMG I HAS WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL" I decided to show you guys a machine running Windows 7 Professional that isn't the BETA, RC1 or RC2.

WordPress blogs are under attack after a old friend is back causing havoc. A worm is attacking WordPress blogs which are yet to be patched with the WordPress 2.8.4 release. This release, although contains minor changes is now probably one of the most important updates you will need to update to. This update fixes the security which this worm is using to exploit WordPress blogs, the worm is quite strong and therefore should not be taken lightly. Click for the full insight on the worm.

After months and months of development and input, the website project Anti Tables goes live! You may remember a post a while back talking about Anti Tables (View post here) well the project still continued, but development dramatically expanded after a few months and the site was taken down to continue the development. The orginal plan was to release Anti Tables in 2008 and then start building up content and aiming to get a decent amount of traffic by 2009. But this quickly became impossible as alot of new ideas were in the air and it wasn't possible.

James' Blog is officially one years old today! To be exact at 10:22 AM (GMT Time). This was when everything such as the domain name, the web hosting and other parts was purchased and created. It's been a good year I think for James' Blog, over 100 posts/articles have been posted and the combined total site views is over 80,000! I would like to thank everyone who has helped James' Blog, I'd love to do a long list, but it would just be so long, but thank you to the people that comment on my articles/posts, people that email privately asking for help or spotting problems, tutorial websites such as Good-Tutorials, Pixel2Life, DevSnippets for giving me extra traffic by featuring my tutorials. Well better late James; Blog to it and to relax on it's day off on it's Birthday!

Recently, I've noticed when I've been administrating my blog, my WordPress dashboard has become awfully slow, and I mean slow. The loading of the dashboard was like dial up speeds and im on a 2 MB broadband connection (Soon to be 10 MB) so it was a joke really. So I went hunting for some tips on getting my WordPress Dashboard like the speed of light again. Not all of the tips I found helped my specific situation, but some might help you if your in a similar situation
