Exams are getting easier?

Why is it that every time that some sort of national examination takes place whether it be SATS, GCSE's, A Level etc. The media thinks that "Oh yeah well the exams are getting easier, so everyone's getting A's" Erm no shut up. The media have really got to stand to one side for a minute and stop looking at there stats and actually think wait maybe these people that got A's actually studied hard and revise loads, so they were actually trying to get A's.

Your Favorite Windows OS

Okay so after my post on Windows Vista Ultimate I got thinking of what older Windows operating systems I used to use. I actually was surprised when I found that I've used several different systems, and even still to this day own some of the CD's for them, even going back to Windows 3.1! Yes it's true I have used Windows 3.1 and can I just say that paint rocked on it. Screw MS paint now, Windows 3.1 paint was where it was at. Old school baby! But seriously here's a list of Windows operating systems I have used.

Why is YouTube so addictive?

Ever since YouTube was first got wind of when it went live it was always going to be a success from the start, I mean I think the idea for a website like YouTube is genius, of courses there's similar video uploading sites out there on the internet but YouTube is just unique than the rest! Mainly because of it brand name, but im sure many of you have spent time just randomly browsing YouTube and then realising what the hell am I actually looking for? The fact that it's also a good website to kill time at work or in school is probably also why people like it, and the fact that the website is blocked in schools so much!

GCSE Celebrations?

If your a resident of the UK and have just finished year 11 of Secondary school you will of course be one of the thousands of people that got there GCSE results yesterday, how did you do? Please with your results? Can you get into college/sixth form with your results? Well rhetorical questions aside, I hope GCSE students that read this got the grades they wanted, because in the end if you haven't then sorry to break it to you but you are screwed. Windows Vista Ultimate

After about a month of endless google searches and troubleshooting guides I have managed to install the new Windows Vista Ultimate Operating System. I had been having problems with installing Windows Vista on my primary desktop machine, as the installer would lock up in a certain amount of time and crash, rendering my PC unusable. At first the possibility of having a bad disc could of been causing this problem, but thanks to a good friend of mine Chris, (I.T/Computer Engineer) he was able to give me a machine to test out my disc. And in a good way we found it wasn't the disc that was the problem, as Windows Vista installed with no problems on the Toshiba Laptop that I was borrowing from him.
